Our Fondue Vite has arrived in London again for the Winter season. KäseSwiss Fondue Vite is simply all the ingredients for a cheese fondue in a bag. All you need to do is pour it into your pot, heat it up and eat. There are no additives or preservatives, just the normal ingredients of fondue mixed together in advance by us.
This sort of fondue mix is very common in Switzerland and you can find different versions of it in most good cheese shops. It contains traditional Swiss farmhouse cheeses that are fully mature so that it has a very good flavour and we have tried to source everything in Switzerland - cheese, wine, kirsch. The only non- Swiss things are cornflour and a little spice.
Of course you can make your own fondue quite easily, but some people just don't wish to !

The Swiss cheese tasting hosted by Patricia at La Fromagerie last Wednesday evening was very enjoyable. It was fabulous to speak to such a great group of people who were interested in our cheese. Patricia, Sarah and their team created a lovely environment and some delicious Swiss style food to accompany the presentation of our cheeses. Sue Style's knowledge of Swiss wines and her antedotes from her book on Swiss cheese were so interesting. I've had to completely change my impression, (uninformed impression !) of the wines of Switzerland. They were quite special and complemented the cheeses well.
