Summer Alpage Raclette Swiss - from the Valais Region
A very unique raw milk, Swiss summer Alpage Raclette cheese, made this summer over a wood fire. The cows are taken up onto the Alp each summer and the cheesemakers stay on the Alp in a chalet with very basic conditions in order to make cheese. The mountain grazing creates the beautiful milk used in the making of this cheese. This is a unique cheese which is only sold in the area in which it is made. Can also be eaten as a table cheese.
